We run three different uTime clubs:

  1. uTime@Rossett for Harrogate young carers aged 11-14
  2. uTime@ThePit for Harrogate young carers aged 14+
  3. uTime@StStephens for Craven young carers aged 11+

General Info for all uTime clubs:

  • Our aim is to create a welcoming community of young carers
  • The main rules to follow are to respect each other, the staff and the equipment
  • uTime is strictly for young carers who are registered with our service. It is not open to any other young people.
  • uTime does not run in the school holidays

uTime@Rossett:

  • held at Rossett Sports Centre, Pannal Ash Road, Harrogate, HG2 9JP
  • runs from 5.00pm until 7.00pm
  • every other Monday, term time only (see Calendar for dates)

As we are now based at a Sports centre, there will be lots of opportunity to get involved in many activities. The activities will range from volleyball, table tennis, badminton, football and lots more. We will also have chilled out areas for reading magazines, doing crafts, eating and chatting.

uTime@ThePit:

  • held at The Pit, The Ginnel, Harrogate, HG1 2RB
  • runs from 6.00pm until 8.00pm
  • every other Monday, term time only (see Calendar for dates)

As we are now based in town, there will be lots of opportunity to get involved in many activities locally. Our main base will be The Pit. The Pit has a ‘loft’ space upstairs, which is where we will be meeting, there is a foosball table and two ping ping tables with also plenty of seating for just chilling and chatting.

In the summer we plan to have some sessions on the stray or at the valley gardens to use the amenities in the local area.

uTime@StStephens:

  • held at St Stephens school, Gargrave Rd, Skipton BD23 1PJ
  • runs from 6.30pm until 8.00pm
  • usually the first Wednesday every month (see Calendar for dates)

An opportunity for you to talk with us or chat with others in a similar situation to yourself.   We play board games, table tennis and sometimes badminton.  There’s usually something edible to decorate and there’s always something crafty but inedible (paper/pens/glue/) to do.  We generally have hot chocolate available to quench your thirst.
