At last month’s youth group session we made spaghetti and marshmallow structures, did some painting and had a guest appearance from Albert (pictured reclining on the floor). Albert was well behaved, and so were the young carers!
Craven Young Carers had great fun at youth group last week. The selfie stick and props proved a good investment! Having fun is awesome.
Two of our carers – Edward Rhodes (age 8) and Brian Eskriett age (89) helped us to celebrate the opening of our new Skipton office today. Harrogate and Craven Young Carers had an amazing time at Hesketh Farm Park and want to say a HUGE thank you to the Heseltine Family.
Craven Young Carers had a fab time lighting fires and tramping around Malham Tarn. Sarah Deane from the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust Green Guardians Project lead the way, and eventually the sun came out. Thank you for supporting young carers. The Yorkshire Dales is an awesome place.
Craven young carers had fun with ‘veggie sculptures’ at youth club last night. As it is Carers’ Week we talked about what it’s like to be a young carer and some thoughts shared included – ‘It’s not always just the physical help, but it’s the emotional stress that can be the hardest’……’Being a young carer […]
Thank you to Matrix Bowling at Skipton for supporting young carers with discounted rates. We had a great time.
A very big THANK YOU to David and Pam Sneath (Maisie’s grandparents) who kindly gave £300 to Craven Young Carers. The Sneaths celebrated their golden wedding and very generously asked for money to be donated to The Carers’ Resource Young Carers rather than have gifts. We’ll put the money to good use – a day at […]
